ELECTRICAL
COMPONENTS
All
electrical components are of high quality and easily available world-wide when
obtaining spares. Direct-On-Line starters are standard on 10 through 20HP with
Wye-Delta starters standard on 25 through 50 HP. All control panels come with
safety lockout switch, 24 volt control circuit protection and reverse rotation
protection. KS units also offer easy hook up to sequence control.

QUIET
CABINETRY
Curtis KS units come standard in compact LOW DBA acoustical enclosures
with removable side panels for easy access to all service items. Convenient
easy adjusting belt tensioners are standard on 10 through 40HP with automatic
belt tensioning on the 50HP. Top mounted air/oil coolers offer easy access
for cleaning.
LEAK FREE
DESIGN
Using minimal components along with SAE O-ring fittings, Curtis KS units
are designed to eliminate leaks.
LOW
POWER CONSUMPTION
For proven maximum energy savings, Curtis offers as standard on line-off
line and start-stop control with delay off timer. During unload cycle
sump automatically drops to a low idle pressure maintaining extremely
low unloaded horsepower. Unit can also be set to shutdown after a predetermined
idle period.

AIR ENDS
All Curtis air-ends are manufactured to ISO-9001 standards. The Curtis
KS profile with its high precision finish, offers you the shortest possible
sealing line to minimize internal power losses. Along with low running
speeds, this design gives you maximum CFM output per energy dollar. Zero
wear Curtis rotors run in an oil bath and have no metal to metal contact.
Large diameter bearings give you more than twice the needed thrust loading
for extended air-end life.
