HUXLEY, IOWA (June 28, 2002) - In order to bridge the production gap between the manual Kreg Jig® and the fully-automatic DK1100 Pro Series of pocket machines, Kreg will introduce the "Foreman" semi-automatic pocket machine at IWF 2002 in Atlanta. The "Foreman" is entirely air powered (100-120 psi) and produces the same advantages of the round-sided, flat-bottomed pocket hole as our other Kreg products.
To set it apart from its competition, the "Foreman" features automatic air clamping which dramatically reduces cycle time. Pulling the lever of the machine automatically throws the clamping cylinder and starts the drill motor. Once the drilling cycle is complete the lever returns to the home position and cuts airflow to the unit.
In addition, the "Foreman" features the ability to accommodate material from ˝" to 1-1/2" thick. Adjustable swing stops simplify material positioning and a hinged-top design allows convenient access to the drill bit and motor for maintenance. The machine has a tabletop height of 6" while overall dimensions measure (19"H (to the top of lever) x 13-5/8"W x 22-5/8"D).
