As President of California Woodworking Machinery, I would first like to thank you all for supporting our June 2nd Retirement Auction. Beyond being a great success, it was particularly heartwarming to our family and team to see a lot of familiar faces and to hear from loyal customers how much they've appreciated doing business with us through the years.

Although our Lincoln Blvd. facility in Anaheim is now officially closed, I will maintain my status of over 40 years in the woodworking machinery business by continuing to represent most of the lines we have always carried.

Assisting me with sales will be Miguel Paz, who many of you know from his nearly 12 years with us in Anaheim as the dynamo salesman in the front office. And, I am pleased to announce that we will be headquartered at a new office in Costa Mesa using the same phone number we've always had: 714 / 772-2501.

With fewer administrative duties, Miguel and I will be able to visit your factories on a regular basis and offer more personal service. We hope you will continue to regard us as an important part of your team, always ready to help you increase productivity and profitability. All shipments of machinery ordered will be direct. Plus, Cal Wood's reputation for service also remains intact since Manuel Sillas and Ramon Rubi will continue on call, available to assist with your on-site technical service needs.

Even though we will no longer be selling parts and accessories or displaying machinery in a showroom, Miguel and I will be happy to help you with sourcing your parts, possibly saving you money. Brokering used machinery will also remain a large part of our business.

We sincerely look forward to continuing our business relationship and hope to hear from you soon. Please don't hesitate to contact us with all your production problems and machinery needs.
